Céline Schwarzenbach studied law at the University of Zurich and at the Université de Liège, Belgium. After graduating in 1999, she worked for 2 years as a trademark attorney at the Swiss Institute of Intellectual Property (IPI) in Berne. Afterwards she worked as a trainee in a law firm specialized in intellectual property (IP) in Zurich. After obtaining her bar admission, she joined the IP team of a leading Swiss law firm as an attorney-at-law before obtaining a Master of International Business and Law from the University of Sydney, Australia. During and after her Master's studies, she worked as a Legal Advisor in the IP/IT team of an Australian law firm in Sydney from 2007 to 2009. Prior to joining RENTSCH PARTNER, Céline Schwarzenbach worked from 2010 to 2023, among others, as a member of the executive board and partner in a Swiss and then international patent and trademark law firm.
