Working as a Patent Attorney, Moritz Hönig’s work focusses on the fields of chemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medtech, energy and cleantech.
Moritz Hönig completed his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in 2014 and his Master’s degree in Chemistry at the University of Cambridge. As part of his subsequent dissertation at ETH Zurich, Moritz Hönig completed the synthesis of a complex natural product and developed a novel chemical reaction. Moritz Hönig has been working for RENTSCH PARTNER since February 2020 and heads the start-up desk. In addition to his work as a patent attorney, he is a tutor at the Center for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI) at the University of Strasbourg.
