Fabio Versolatto works as an attorney at law specialising in the fields of intellectual property, competition, contract and industrial law, and both advising clients and representing them in litigation. His main areas of interest include legal disputes in trademark, unfair competition and design matters and legal advice to innovative companies on drafting and negotiation of contracts, such as development, distribution and license agreements.

Fabio Versolatto studied law at the University of Zurich and graduated in 2010 (magna cum laude). During his studies, he worked for five years as a student employee at a leading Zurich-based multinational IT and consulting company, including in its legal department. From 2011 to 2012, he worked as a court clerk at the District Court of Hinwil (Canton of Zurich), and from 2012 to April 2014 as a trainee lawyer at RENTSCH PARTNER. In 2014, he passed his bar exams and formally joined RENTSCH PARTNER as an attorney at law in November 2014. He is a lecturer in trademark, naming and company name law for the Course for IP Specialists and the Swiss Patent Attorney Examination (SIPSPA) at the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IPI) and in the subject "Law" (Online Marketing, Copywriter) at the Content Marketing Academy Schreibszene. Furthermore, he is an author for “iusNet Intellectual Property” of Schulthess Juristische Medien AG.
